Brediland Memorial
Garden
To design a war memorial garden to benefit the local community over at Brediland Allotment, Cardell Drive Foxbar in Paisley.
The client who uses the brediland allotments has proposed the idea of a garden as a memorial to the great war.
The memorial garden will be open for everyone to use. There is a nursery across from the site so the childrens are also welcome to play around the area as well. The plot is close to a railway tracks and a cycle track directly behind the allotments, and it is also allocated on a corner so it will be the focal attraction in around Paisley.
My design proposal was inspired by a war memorial themed moodboard and this is where I got the layout from to start with. I have chosen the colours reds, browns and greens and have took ideas from my research page and went on to further developments.
